For this review, we’re going to analyze the Lora DiCarlo Drift vibrator! After a disappointing Osé 2, we had the chance to receive several sextoys from this brand to see if the other products they offer are better than the bad experience we had. The first sextoy in this series of three products is the Drift heated vibrator, geared for the G-spot and according to them, perfect for beginners.

Usually, heated vibrators or even heated sex toys in general, we find it a bit gimmicky. But you know as well as you do, we can still be surprised sometimes, because we’ve already had cases on types of products that attract us no more than that and that were good discoveries! Concerning the heated sex toys, the last ones we have reviewed on the (French) website are the Venus from Goliate, the Doc Johnson A Play Beginner buttplug or the masturbator Insider from Goliate. So we hope that this Lora DiCarlo Drift vibrator will allow us to review our notes on this brand! Without further waiting, here is our review!

Lora DiCarlo Drift Vibrator Packaging

If there is one thing we can’t reproach to Lora DiCarlo, it’s the packaging! Indeed, we find ourselves, at the reception of the Drift, with a white box with yellow slices. It is the same type of design as the one of Osé 2 actually. On the front, we can see the vibrator in the photo and it is a heated model. On one of the edges, we can see a lot of details about the product. And on the back, we have its concept, its functions and some features. All of this is actually on the sleeve, which must be removed in order to access the contents of the box.

In the same way, again, as the box of the Osé 2, this one opens by the center, as you can see on the photos! We discover inside, the user manual, the Lora DiCarlo Drift vibrator lying in a mold on the other side and lifting the booklet, we have a yellow cardboard compartment. In the latter, we discover the last elements, such as the warranty card, the magnetic USB charging cable and a storage pouch, still made from recycled plastic from the sea!

Lora DiCarlo Drift Vibrator Physical Details

I had not originally seen the Drift in pictures. It was when we received it that we saw what it looked like! And I have to say that I thought the Lora DiCarlo Drift was a bit bigger! In reality, it’s a small and rather simplistic looking vibrator! As you can see from the photos, it is a slightly curved vibrator, with a fairly small handle and a head that is shaped in a hollow, with a flat part but in addition, a sort of round domed part on the inside of it. It is the shape that we are used to find when it comes to stimulate the G-spot, except that in addition, we have a small bulging area above.

It reminds me a bit of the MyPleasure vibrator from Goliate, but we can’t say that they look alike either. Concerning the buttons, we have three, the first one is the biggest one, this one with “LDC” written on it. This is the lowest button on the handle, just after the two contact points for magnetic charging. Above the LDC button, we have a round or circle shaped button, and then again above that, a third triple wave shaped button. The shape looks pretty good, but I admit I’m a little worried about the size of the handle, we’ll see about that later in the review.

Size of the vibrator

As I said, the Lora DiCarlo Drift is not really big or imposing. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Indeed, it measures 13.8 cm (5.43″) in total length, for an insertion size of 8 cm (3.14″). This is enough to stimulate the G-spot. At its largest, the diameter of the vibrator is 2.9 cm (1.14″), while the head stimulating displays 2.6 cm (1.02″) in diameter.

Other details

To finish on this part, I can tell you two things! The first one is the color of the Drift! This one is red/orange and it is the only color that will be available! And on the other hand, for the second thing to announce to you, it is that its weight which is of 92 grams only! Yes, it is a really light vibrator.

Lora DiCarlo Drift Vibrator Materials

No surprise, it is a vibrator in silicone and ABS plastic! Let’s say that it is almost that in 99% of cases! Besides, here, it is rather a layer of silicone, because the vibrator remains semi-rigid (even rigid I must say), given that it is supposed to stimulate the G-spot. The silicone is quality, soft to the touch and medical grade. Regarding the ABS plastic, no worries either, it is a healthy material for the body.

Lora DiCarlo Drift Vibrator Use

I don’t consider you to be amateurs, nor beginners, but it’s always good to have a little reminder and explanation of the basics of how to use a toy for adults. So we’re going to take a quick tour of its functions so you don’t get burned! Just kidding, even if the Lora DiCarlo Drift has a heating function, it is not possible to burn yourself with it! That’s all we need! Let’s start with how to recharge it.

How to load the Drift?

To charge your Lora DiCarlo Drift, you have a magnetic USB charging cable! Just clip it on one side and plug it into a USB port or an AC adapter. The first charge will take about an hour (because the Drift will already be partially charged) and then it will take about 2 hours to charge the Drift for an average of 1 hour. When the Drift is charging, you have a light indicator or rather a circle of light that will change depending on its state of charge, at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.

When the Drift runs out of battery, the circle of light will start to flash to let you know that there is 5 minutes or less of battery life left. And if the vibrations or the heating effect are not activated in the last 5 minutes, the Drift will turn off. If the heating function is active, but not the vibrations, it will take 15 minutes before it turns itself off.

How to use this vibrator?

To use this vibrator, you have several buttons on it. First, you have the “Power” button that needs to be pressed and held for 1.5 seconds to turn it on. Same thing if you want to turn it off. Also, when the Drift is running, if you press the “Power” button, you will be able to return to the first level of vibrations.

Then, you have a button with 3 waves on it, which allows, when pressed, to activate the heating system. You will have to wait about 90 seconds for it to be hot, it is not instantaneous. And finally, you have the button in the shape of a circle, which allows you to cycle through the vibration modes, with 7 constant levels of higher or lower intensity and 3 vibration patterns.

The heating function

As I said, the heating function is activated by pressing the three wave button. This mode heats up the Drift to 40°, just below body temperature. This allows you to stimulate your G-spot, your clitoris or external erogenous parts of your body. It is the WarmSense technology that is present and that allows to deliver a constant level of heat in the vibrator. We’ll see a little later what this function gives in action.

What modes are present?

On this Drift by Lora DiCarlo, we have 3 modes and 7 levels of intensity. There is a constant mode, another one, which makes small waves and the last one which I forgot. However, we have 7 levels of intensity for the constant one, which allows us to vary the possibilities. To be honest, with Kitty, it’s mostly the constant mode that we’ve been using, with varying levels of intensity during our tests. It is not huge, but quite satisfactory and sufficient for a sextoy of this type.

Which lubricant to choose with ?

As always, when it comes to a silicone-based sextoy, you don’t want to take any chances! For this, a water-based lubricant should be considered, if you need lubrication. We love the Sliquid, Pjur or Yes range, but also other models! We let you choose your lube!

How to clean it?

The Lora DiCarlo Drift vibrator is IPX 7 rated! This means that it can be immersed in water and therefore for cleaning, it makes things easier! Just run it through hot water with a little soap to clean it well. You can also use a cleaner, such as Sliquid Shine, which will also allow you to clean it before air drying it.

Lora DiCarlo Drift Vibrator Efficiency

Now that we’ve seen everything there is to know about this Drift vibrator, it’s time to try it out! We’ve had the Drift for a while and have been taking the time to try it out. But now it’s done! So we will give you our opinion. I’ll also bring you Kitty’s comments about it! Here is what we think of this Lora DiCarlo Drift vibrator!

Not enough buttons

The Lora DiCarlo Drift is small, but is it manageable and practical? Yes and no. In fact, its main drawback comes from the fact that on the one hand, its handle is quite short and on the other hand, it has only one button to manage the modes and intensity of vibrations. So yes, you can easily change the current mode, but if you don’t want to go down in intensity, you’ll have to go through the other modes to go back down or press the LDC button to turn it off and on again to go back to the first level. This is not very practical, especially for a vibrator at this price, it’s a shame not to have a second button to go up / down.

The length of the handle

Another point, the length of the handle! When I used it on Kitty to stimulate her G-spot, I have to say that the handle became quite small in the end and it was not very easy to do back and forth movements at the same time. You can hold the Drift in place, but it’s more tricky to make movements afterwards. You can still do it, but you have to admit, the handle is still small.

It is not intuitive

And another concern, which is not serious, but which can put you off, is the controls! Indeed, in addition to what we have already indicated, the buttons are not representative. Indeed, the “Power” button is the “LDC” button. The button with waves is for the heating effect and finally, the round button is to activate the vibration modes. I have to say that it doesn’t make sense!

The button with waves, is more like a button that manages the vibration modes. The round button, could be the On/Off button and the LDC button, the heating part. And still, it is not more intuitive. Let’s just say that if you don’t look at the manual and try to use it directly like this, it will take some time to master the buttons.

It works very well

On the other hand, despite its flaws, this vibrator makes its effect! First, the heating part works well, Kitty was not aware that it could heat up. When I asked her if she felt the heat, she told me that it was indeed the case and that she even thought there was a problem with it, because her vagina was hot. Proof that this technology works well and that it brings a little more to not feel too much, the relative cold of silicone.

For its G-spot stimulation, it is a little gem. I used mainly the continuous mode with a more or less strong level of intensity. The result was notable, Kitty was soaked, her pussy was flowing and her G-spot was very well stimulated. Here, we can say that the Drift fulfills its mission well. The vibrating stimulation works well, you just have to place the bump on the G spot and wait. I played with Kitty, vibrating her G-spot and licking her clitoris, it was effective.

Nothing to say, the orgasms are there. Besides, Kitty was a bit drained once we had finished playing. Moreover, the little ball on the clitoris works well too, if you can switch from a G-spot stimulation to the clitoris. The vibrations are rather deep, qualitative, we do not feel vibrations that go up in the handle and in the arm. And physiologically, the Drift is perfectly placed, we feel that it takes place by pressing on the G-spot.

Lora DiCarlo Drift Vibrator Final Thoughts

Lora DiCarlo Drift - 11

In conclusion, despite some flaws, this Lora DiCarlo Drift heated vibrator is a good sextoy for your G-spot! It’s a bit of a shame to have only three buttons, which aren’t very telling and with a handle that’s a bit too short. But apart from that, it’s a very good stimulator, made with quality materials and supplied with a storage pouch made from recycled plastic from the oceans, that’s pretty cool! Only its price can put you off, by the way, we’ll tell you about another model soon, quite similar to this one but with an extra part for a slightly higher budget. Wait & See !
