Indeed, I had the bad surprise to realize that it had rusted! And I must say I was a little sad, because this cage was perfectly adapted to the size of my penis. I already reviewed some chastity cages, like the NoPacha Balls In cage, which was a bit too small for me, the Mystim Pubic Enemy N°1 cage, which broke after a while, or the first version of the Cellmate cage, which had a security flaw at the time.

Since then, I didn’t have any chastity cage in my collection that would fit me and that’s why I decided to ask Lovehoney to send me the Dominix Deluxe The Prisoner cock cage, in order to find the same version as the cage from China, but of better quality. So it’s with pleasure that I’m going to give you my opinion on this model, which fits larger than average penises. Here is my opinion!

To begin, I will tell you about the box of this chastity cage. For the time being, we can’t say that it’s a great luxury. It is even the opposite. Indeed, we have a simple cardboard box and rectangular, all white, without really information on the product. There is no logo, no name, no technical information. The only thing we have are two stickers that are glued at the bottom of the front. It looks very cheap and does not give very desire.

Inside this box, we discover a plastic bag that contains the chastity cage, wrapped in kraft paper, as well as a brass padlock, with two keys. And that’s all! We have neither a user’s manual nor a storage bag. It’s a pity, because, once again, it doesn’t give you the desire at first sight.

Well, fortunately, by removing the kraft paper, around this cage, we find ourselves with something more interesting. First of all, it’s a cage I know well, because as I said, I had ordered the same version in China, but this one had rusted. This is a rather open chastity cage, which consists of two parts.

The ring

We have on one side, a ring, which has two small holes that will be occupied by the two points present on the cage. These two points are flat, you are not going to prick yourself with them, but you have to be a little careful, all the same.

We can also notice that on this ring, we have a part that protrudes, which consists of a small cylinder with a hole inside. It is in fact here, that it will be necessary to come to put the padlock in order to lock the set.

The cage

On the other side, we have a cage, which as I said, has two flat spikes to fit into the two holes of the ring. We also have a cylinder with a hole above the cage to accommodate the cylinder of the ring that I mentioned earlier to put and close the padlock.

Then, the cage points downwards, with quite large openings, formed by rods that come together to block the penis, with a small hole at the very end. I must say that the system is both practical for the installation, but also the withdrawal.

It’s true that on the Mystim Pubic Enemy No. 1 cage, this one had a lot more parts that required more time to put on and take off. Other than that, there is no apparent logo or anything else.

The padlock and the two keys

But we still have a padlock and two keys to lock this cage. Here, the padlock is not so good, as well as the keys. It’s quite fragile and the locking system is a bit shaky. In fact, it’s a padlock with keys, but quite big that fit in a rather big hole. It feels more like picking the lock when you close it or open it. I think this is done to reassure users, but honestly, I prefer the classic keyed padlocks, which are more resistant, more efficient and which reassure me more, personally, than this one. I’ll tell you more about it later.

The size of the cage

This is an important point for a chastity cage. In all, the cage measures 15.24 cm (6″) in length, but this also counts the ring. If we talk only about the cage, it has a curved length of 13 cm (5.11″), which allows to adapt to a certain size of penis. For my part, at rest, it suits me perfectly compared to much shorter cages. Regarding the diameter of the cage, it is 3.8 cm (1.49″), internal. This also leaves room, but not too much either if you start to get hard inside. And for the ring itself, it offers a diameter of 4.6 cm (1.81″), which is also enough to pass one testicle, then the other and have a good fit. You should also know that there is a space between the cage and the ring, which measures 1.27 cm (0.5″) and that it is not adjustable.

Other details

To finish on this subject, as you could see, it is a shiny cage, made of steel, but I will come back to that, but on the other hand, I could not find its exact weight. At the same time, there is no user manual that could tell us more. You should know that it remains light, while having a certain weight, you will understand it just below.

Well, this is where I have a doubt, because to certify that it is stainless steel, I would have to try to rust it. And since the previous cage I bought had rusted, I don’t really want to do the same thing with this one. What I can tell you, though, is that it is steel and solid steel. You can tell by the weight of it and the whole thing feels like a quality piece of workmanship, no doubt about it. However, when I compare the cage I had and this one, I have a hard time seeing the differences.

So I guess it’s the same material, but it’s hard to tell. To me, it’s steel, solid, sturdy, but you’d still have to be careful. Anyway, I think it is stainless steel, because on the other cage, I was able to clean it a little, but it is true that the free spaces between the rods are small and do not allow to pass a finger to come and rub. I think I should have taken care of it, rather than leaving it after use, without having taken care to clean it well before.

How to use this cage?

To use this cage, it is not complicated at all. It’s even a simple cage to set up. I’ll go into more detail below, but in general terms, this is how it works. You put the ring on like a cock ring, you put your penis in the cage, you put the two rods in the holes of the ring, the cylinder in the hole of the ring and you lock it with a padlock.

Why and what is the point of using a chastity cage?

Among BDSM accessories, the chastity cage is clearly the accessory for penises! You may ask me what is the point of wearing a chastity cage. Indeed, it is all about wearing a cage that prevents the person who wears it from using his penis, sexually. But you can also clean it with white vinegar and coarse salt, or better, a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda. This is the most efficient way and it is with this that I managed to remove, on the previous cage, a maximum of rust.

So yes, the smell is not very pleasant, but it works well. Once again, a cotton swab is used to apply the paste formed by the mixture and to give it back all its shine. In any case, do not neglect this aspect, on the new cage that I received, for the moment, I have nothing to report, it is just as beautiful as the first day.

Now I’m going to tell you what I think about this cage! As mentioned before, this is a model that I already know and like. You can imagine that I am not going to say anything bad about it. I’ve tried it a lot of times, both alone and with Kitty, who likes to play with my penis when I wear it. If you want to know my opinion about this one, you just have to read the few paragraphs below. Installation, comfort and ergonomics

To start, I’ll tell you what I think of its overall ergonomics. As you may have read above, this is my favorite chastity cage. And it is notably for its ease of installation and its overall ergonomics. Indeed, it is very simple for me to put it on. I just have to put the ring on first, like a classic cockring, such as the Mystim Earl or the Fifty Shades Freed ring, and then, I slide my penis at rest in the cage. I can come in and pull the skin a little to get it all the way in. And then, I place the two spikes into the holes of the ring and lock it all together with the padlock.

But this padlock is not great. Indeed, to close and lock it, I find it too cheap. I feel more like I’m trying to pick it than I do to lock it. Fortunately for me, I have a whole bunch of more classic and sturdy locks to replace it. One of the ones I use is the one you can see in the pictures I took, which is not the default one on the first cage I have.

In fact, it’s a set of padlocks that I bought myself some time ago. Once the cage is in place, I feel neither too tight in it, nor too comfortable. It’s a good in-between in my opinion. I can get it under a pair of boxer shorts, less so under jeans, although that is possible. Let’s just say it shows that there’s something underneath and I wear fitted jeans. But compared to the other cages I’ve had the opportunity to review, this is really the one I’m most comfortable with.

The feeling of being caged

This is an important point, because if a cage is too tight, it can be unpleasant, even if it must please some people. But it should also not be possible to remove it without unlocking the padlock, nor to be able to masturbate with it. And there too, it’s a good in-between. Indeed, I can’t remove it without having the key that unlocks the cage, but I can move it a bit to stimulate my penis. That’s my favorite part, because again, it’s an in-between that I enjoy.

In situation

It’s great! Indeed, the fact that it is open allows Kitty to play with my penis easily and she likes it. I think it’s also steel and not stainless steel, so you’ll have to take care of it for the reasons I mentioned. But for the rest, it is really a good cage model, especially for those with a larger or longer than average penis. For me, this is clearly the model that fits my penis almost perfectly. It seems that my penis is a bit bigger and longer than average, which explains why some of the cages I tested seemed way too small for me. In fact, the Mystim Pubic Enemy N°1 cage I had broke. At the same time, plastic is clearly less solid than steel.

Here, without saying that I have a big penis either, it fits me perfectly, both in diameter and length. I find myself caged, without being able to remove it without having the key to the padlock, but without being unpleasant. It is a cage that I can wear for a long time! In short, for my part, I remain to say that it is a very good cage! Maybe I will find better, but I can also find less good or less adapted to my size.
