Recently, I was offered to review the We-Vibe Moxie! I did not know the latest We-Vibe sex toy and I was surprised to see that on paper, it seemed like a very good idea! It is even wondering why this vibrating stimulator that clips on underwear with a magnetic system had not emerged before! This is an ingenious idea to vibrate your clitoris and your vulva, without having the vibrating thing that falls to the bottom of the panty.
Obviously, I was very curious to see the result of this new sex toy! Because sex toys like these, I’ve already seen a lot. Whether it’s a vibrating egg like the Cry Baby Gold, the vibrating panty, the first sex toy that made me want to create this website (the French one), the Lush 2, the Esca or the Picobong Diver, it’s not the first time. But this time, we talk about an external stimulator, a bit like Ohmibod Nex 1, but which seems much more stable. Here is my We-Vibe Moxie review!
We-Vibe Moxie packaging

We-Vibe has been using the same packaging for a long time. It has changed a little, except recently on the color choice, with more pastel hues, a little neon sometimes. Again, we find this color mix that works well, by using gradient and color fusion, with turquoise blue, darker blue and purple that mixes perfectly together.
This is a rectangular shape box with a gray tab on the top for easy access to the inside content. In this box, we find some information, the concept of the product and its capabilities. Once we open this box, we discover a plasticized cover to access the We-Vibe Moxie. Then, by lifting the mold, we have access to the user’s manual, a We-Vibe lubricant sample by Pjur and a USB magnetic charging cable.
But that’s not all because there is also a satin storage pouch and a wireless remote control. So it’s a fairly complete packaging, even if the plastic might not be there. The good surprise is the presence of an additional magnetic clip, which can provide a better grip. Finally, we’ll see if that’s the case.
We-Vibe Moxie physical details
Let’s talk about what this We-Vibe Moxie looks like! As you can see in the product pictures, it’s a fun device. I do not really know what I could compare it to, maybe a kind of “garage bip controller” to open the door. It’s really not easy to describe it. Its shape is not really usual, but its curves are made to adapt to the morphology when it will be clipped to your panty or thong.
The We-Vibe Moxie is composed of several parts. The first is the Moxie itself, which contains the engine. On top, there are two silver parts, which serve to charge the product. Then, we discover the clip part which is magnetized at the base. Just above this clip, you can see a kind of small hump, which is there to control the Moxie or associate with the wireless remote control or your smartphone.
And finally, the remote control, which is almost identical to the remote controls in other We-Vibe toys, except that here, I feel that the manufacturer has changed some elements, including the small arrows on the wheel selection (the gray part) to control the device.
Moxie size
Obviously, if the Moxie has to cling to your panty, it does not measure the size of a liner. Here, the sex toy is 8.5 cm long (3.34″), 2.7 cm wide (1.07″) and 2 cm thick (0.78″). It is therefore a small stimulator, which will have no trouble finding its place. When comparing the stimulator to its remote control, we can see that it is a little smaller, with 6.8 cm long (2.67″), 3.3 cm wide (1.29″) and 1.4 cm thick (0.55″). As you can see in the pictures, the We-Vibe Moxie is available in turquoise blue color. This is the only color available for this product. I must admit that I like the color choices at We-Vibe for a while. While we have no choice, but the chosen color is still well suited to the product. And last point, the Moxie itself weighs only 37 grams. Nothing to be feared to have the panty that falls alone because of the stimulator weight.
We-Vibe Moxie materials
As usual, at We-Vive, it’s the silicone that prevails! The Moxie is entirely made of matte and soft silicone, hanging little dust. The magnetic clip is also made with silicone, at least, with a silicone coating. For the remote control, it is ABS plastic. Whether it is one or the other, these are two healthy materials for the body. Here, I have nothing to complain about, we find the usual We-Vibe quality.

How to charge the We-Vibe Moxie?
Like all We-Vibe sex toys, this one works with a built-in battery. It will therefore charge it before anything else. For this, you have, as usual, a charging cable in the box. It is a magnetic charging cable in USB format, very common in the sex toy market.
At the charging time level, it takes approximately 90 minutes for an autonomy of use of two hours on average. It is therefore a good ratio between the charging time and the battery life. Indeed, sometimes, some sex toys take longer to charge than use time. Here, it’s pretty good compared to the average. Be aware that a multi-state LED is there to indicate its charging level.
How to use the We-Vibe Moxie in manual mode?
It is possible to use the Moxie in manual mode, although this is clearly the worst way to use it. Indeed, without remote control or smartphone, you only have one button available, the hump above the clip. This button is used to turn on, turn off, connect the Bluetooth part or change the modes. To try, it’s good, but in action, it’s bad. Indeed, you will not put your hand in your panty every time you want to change vibration mode.
How to use the Moxie with its remote control?
To use the We-Vibe Moxie with the wireless remote control, you need to make some small adjustments. Indeed, it is necessary to pair the remote control to the Moxie. To do this, press and hold the button above the clip for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the Moxie will emit two pulses. At that point, it will be ready for pairing.
Then, while holding the left or right button pressed on the remote control (the arrows) for 5 seconds, you’ll connect the remote control to the Moxie. Once done, you can use the remote control with the clitoral stimulator. Be aware that the range of the remote control is a little less than 10 meters in a straight line and 6 meters over 360 °. These are the acceptable limits for it to work well.
For the buttons, the up arrow will power on the Moxie or increase the level intensity. The down arrow will turn off the product or lower the level intensity. For the “left” or “right” arrow, they allow you to go to the next or previous mode.
How to use the We-Vibe Moxie with the app?
You can also pair the Moxie with the We-Connect app on your smartphone. It is still necessary that your smartphone is under iOS 10 or more. Or for Android, version 5 or higher. Your smartphone must also support Bluetooth 4.0. In principle, the Moxie is also compatible on iOS 9 and Android 4.4, but the manufacturer has not tested on devices using these systems versions. The application is available in multiple languages, if you need.
Be careful, if your Moxie is already connected to the remote control, you will need to remove the remote control pairing to pair the Moxie with your smartphone. To pair the smartphone, just launch the application that will guide you in the startup. Here, we can use the Moxie over the Internet to give control to a third person.
What are the vibration modes?
By default, on the Moxie, you have 10 vibration modes as you can see above. There is the mode “Low”, “Medium” and “High” then “Ultra” in constant mode. Then, the “Pulse”, “Wave”, “Tease”, “Ramp”, “Tempo” and “Massage” modes which are jerky/alternative modes. These are the modes that are usually found on a We-Vibe sex toy.
However, using the We-Connect application, we unlock more possibilities, including the ability to create our own vibration modes to adapt to our needs and desires.
Which lube to use with the Moxie?
If you want to use a little lubricant on the small bump for your clitoris, you can add some. I do not think it’s really necessary, but if that’s the case, you’ll have to use water-based lubricant. I recommend the Sliquid H2O or the Organics Sensation one. You have also the Pjur Aqua or the Sliquid Satin.
How to clean the We-Vibe Moxie?
Before I talk about cleaning, you’ve to know that the Moxie is 100% waterproof. Well, I must say that I do not understand why. It’s always good that a sex toy is waterproof, but here, knowing that it is a vibrator clip on a panty, I can’t imagine to seeing someone in panty in its bath to use the Moxie. What is important to remember is that to clean it, we can completely rinse it with water.
So, to make it all clean, you can use some soap and warm water. You also have the choice to use a toy cleaner like Sliquid Shine that I like a lot.
Anything else to say about its use?
Yes, I have two other points to mention. The first is that the product is guaranteed for 2 years. And the second is that it is not recommended to use the Moxie if you use a pacemaker. With the magnetized part, it is not advisable.
We-Vibe Moxie efficiency
Now, let’s get down to business! To know if this Moxie works well, I reviewed this one with my dear and tender Kitty to realize its effectiveness. Kitty has brought me a lot of things that I will expose you in addition to my feedback!
A clitoral stimulator clip
Yes, it is surely the most important element of this product! But this is also the point on which I had doubts. Finally, it works very well. I gave the Moxie to Kitty, explaining the concept to her and how to position it. Placement is quite easy and the magnet system works perfectly. The stimulator is in place, it does not fall and we can sit with it without any problems. If we jump with it, it is possible that it falls, according to Kitty, but at the same time, who does that? Walking, sitting or standing, legs apart or legs close, the Moxie remains perfectly in place.
A stimulator for public use?
Another point, the noise. Indeed, this kind of stimulator is perfect for public use, in a noisy place. At low intensity, it is very discreet. On the other hand, as soon as you reach level 8 to 10, it starts to be heard. In a place like a bar or a night club, nobody will pay attention. In a more discreet place, you will hear it on these intensity levels. It can clearly be used as such, but it will not stay too high for too long, otherwise it will attract attention. The connected part
For our tests, I used the smartphone. At first I had a lot of disconnections from the Moxie. A 4 or 5 seconds latency, it was pretty boring. Then, I discovered in the application settings, an option to enable Bluetooth scanning, allowing me to stabilize the link and to lower the latency to 1 second or so. I strongly advise you to activate this mode when you use the Moxie via your smartphone.
Stimulation quality
With We-Vibe, we often have the right to quality vibrations and this is the case here. Kitty told me that she would not get an orgasm just by the Moxie stimulation, but accompanied by other things, it’s likely. However, the vibrations are powerful and rather deep. I was skeptical at first, but Kitty confirmed it was a good model, functional and efficient.
