Now, let’s move on to the Lora DiCarlo Tilt plug! Why am I telling you this? Simply because we have reviewed a short time ago, the Lora DiCarlo Drift vibrator, the first of a series of heated sex toys, before the Sway, a double vibrator! But before that, we had also reviewed OsĂ© 2, the most famous product at Lora DiCarlo, but which, on our side, did not seduce us. I must confess that when I saw the name of this plug, I immediately thought of one thing, the pinball!

Maybe you are too young to know what it is, but when we played pinball, sometimes we would move it too much and generate a “Tilt” that would completely block the system, making us lose the ball in progress. In short, it was an era that is unfortunately becoming more and more “passĂ©”, as pinball machines are disappearing everywhere. But we’re not here to tell you about a pinball machine, but about a vibrating, heating and unisex plug! Want to know more? We invite you to our Lora DiCarlo Tilt review to get a better idea.

Lora DiCarlo Tilt packaging

No surprise, just like the Drift or the Sway, we have the same packaging with the same things inside. Indeed, it is a cardboard box, white, with yellow edges. We can see on one side, the Tilt plug, but also that it is a heated sextoy. We find on the edges, details about the plug, with the back of the box, its functions and characteristics. In reality, all this is on a sleeve, which must be removed to access the contents of the box, through a tab of a magnetic system.

When the box is opened, we have two distinct parts, with on one side, the plug in a mold and on the other, the manual that hides under it, a small cardboard box that contains, the storage pouch made of recycled plastic from the oceans, the warranty card and the USB magnetic charging cable.

Lora DiCarlo Tilt physical details

Now let’s talk about its design! As you can see on the pictures, it is a kind of plug, but with a particular stimulating head! Indeed, we find here, one of the heads of Lora Di Carlo Sway, the one dedicated to the stimulation of the G and P spots. In a way, the shape of the head reminds me a bit of the Aneros EVI. It is a kind of bulb that narrows at the level of its stem, before joining a base that has two sides, one longer than the other.

Then below this base which will act as a brake, we find the control buttons, 4 in number, as well as the two magnetic points for the charging of its battery.

Tilt size

To give you a little more details about this plug, you should know that it measures 10.2 cm (4.01″) long, for 7.4 cm (2.91″) insertable. And it is 10.7 cm (4.21″) wide, at the level of its stem which acts as a brake. For its diameter, at its maximum, the Tilt reaches 3.1 cm (1.22″), which is rather reasonable. It is thus a plug of average size, but not very large.

Other details

What more can I tell you? Oh yes, I know! First of all, if you are looking for a particular color, look no further! Indeed, the Lora DiCarlo Tilt plug is only available in purple! If you don’t like this color, you’ll have to deal with it! And another point, its weight, because it must be said, is light for a motorized plug. Indeed, this model weighs only 56 grams! It is the lightest motorized plug I have seen, with so much quality.

Lora DiCarlo Tilt materials

If the Drift and the Sway were made of silicone, you can imagine that it is the same principle for the Lora DiCarlo Tilt! But it’s not full silicone, since we have motors inside. In fact, it is ABS plastic covered with a layer of silicone! This keeps the Tilt rigid overall. Both silicone and ABS plastic are body safe, containing no phthalates or latex. Silicone is soft, doesn’t get dusty, and once again, quality is the name of the game!

Lora DiCarlo Tilt use

Now that we have seen what the Lora DiCarlo Tilt looks like, we will look at the use of the product in order to fully understand how it works. This will also give you the basics on how to use it, if needed. As you will see, it is not much different from the other Lora DiCarlo products we have reviewed.

How to charge the Tilt?

First thing to do with any sextoy that has a battery, is to recharge it! To do this, you have a USB magnetic charging cable, which you will have to clip on the two magnetic points of the Lora DiCarlo Tilt and the other part, on an AC adapter or directly on a USB powered port. The first charge can take as little as one hour, depending on the state of the battery. But in normal circumstances, it takes more like 2 hours of charging time for an average autonomy of 1 hour.

Like the other models, the Tilt has an LED at the LDC button that will change depending on the current battery charge. There are several states for this LED such as 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. If the Tilt runs out of battery, this same LED will flash to let you know that you have only 5 minutes left to finish what you have to do with it. If you forget to turn off the plug, if the heating and vibration are not activated, it will turn itself off after 5 minutes. And it will be the same if you forgot the heating function, but this time after 15 minutes.

How to handle it?

The Drift has three buttons, the Sway 4, it’s the same for the Tilt, we also have 4 buttons! You have a “LDC” button, a button with a large circle, another with a small circle and the last one with a triple wave symbol! To turn on the Lora DiCarlo Tilt, you must first keep the “LDC” button pressed for 1.5 seconds and then do the same to turn it off. Then, with the triple wave button, you can activate the heating function of the plug.

Then, the two “round” buttons allow to activate the vibrations, on one or the other engine, in the manner of the Sway. You have one for the motor present in the shaft (the head) and another, for the motor present in the longest part of its brake, to stimulate the clitoris or the perineum. In addition, you should also know that there is a “Travel-Lock” mode that can be activated or deactivated by pressing the “LDC” and “vibration” buttons for 3 seconds.

What can be done with it?

As you can see, it is a plug, but its whole shape is not usual! Indeed, it is a versatile plug, which vibrates but fits both a vagina and an anus. In fact, one of the reasons for its design is that it is designed for everyone! With a motor in the head and another for the longest branch of the brake, each motor can be controlled independently. You can even use it without your hands! You’ll have to try this!

What are the vibrating modes and intensity levels?

First of all, you must have understood that there are two motors on the Tilt! The first one is located in the insertable bulb, while the other one is located in the base. So we should have vibrations fairly well distributed and from several angles. For each motor, there are three vibration modes with 7 levels of intensity for each. It is rather correct!

I admit that the fact that there are only three modes is a bit average, but we also know that most people use the constant vibration mode. So it’s not really a concern unless you’re a big fan of vibrating modes.

What about the heating mode?

This is the same heating mode as for the Drift and Sway, so there are no surprises! Indeed, the Tilt can also heat up to 40°, a temperature just above our body temperature in order to bring a little more natural and softness. It is the WarmSense technology which is used and which allows to obtain a rather fast and uniform heating in the whole of the sextoy. We will see if this one is identical to the other two products already reviewed.

Which lubricant to choose with ?

As always, you must not make a mistake! Here, the Tilt by Lora DiCarlo is a silicone sextoy and, in order to avoid damaging it, you will have to choose a compatible lubricant! So I recommend you to use a water-based lubricant, thick or not, it will also depend on your use, whether it is an insertion as a vaginal plug or anal plug.

How to clean it?

As with all waterproof products, which allow for use underwater, in the shower or in our bath, it also means that it can be easily cleaned! Indeed, it will suffice for this to pass under warm water, with a little mild soap for cleaning. You can also use a sextoy cleaner if you want, and then it will simply have to be air dried. Nothing difficult, a quick and easy step!

Lora DiCarlo Tilt efficiency

Now, let’s move on to the most interesting part of the review, both for us and for you! We found the Drift not bad at all, the Sway didn’t convince us, but will the Tilt make up for it? To tell you what we think, Kitty tested the Tilt as a G-spot vaginal plug and I tested it for the P-spot! Here are our opinions on the Lora DiCarlo Tilt!

Ergonomics and handling

As I mentioned, the Lora DiCarlo Tilt is as much designed to be inserted in a vagina as in an ass! It is there to vibrate your G or P spot. But not only. First, let’s talk about the buttons. Like that, you’d think they’d be simple and easy to access, but in reality, that’s not really the case. Let’s just say that it’s not easy, once the Tilt is in place, to change a level, a mode or activate/deactivate the heating mode!

Actually, for the price, a remote control would have been nice, or even a connected application! Here, you’ll have to get used to guessing the buttons with your fingers, without really visualizing them. Another point, the bulb is not flexible, nor its base. It’s a pity, because you can’t modify it to fit your morphology! It’s really a pity, because according to the users, the Tilt will be more or less in phase with their body.

And last but not least, when you play with the vibration modes, once you reach the third mode, if you press it again, it cuts off the vibrations completely! Some people like this system, but for my part, when I don’t know if I’m on the second or third mode, I don’t like to find myself with a stopped engine. In short, the Tilt is not perfect on this point, but it is not bad either. It just could have been better thought out. On the bright side, you can activate each motor/function independently.

Engines and vibrations

Well, even if the ergonomics of some things could be improved, we still expect a good level of vibration! And for the time being, it is the case, well almost! You have two motors on the Tilt! The one in the insertable bulb is the best! It’s a little louder than the Sway’s motor, but this motor has a little deeper vibration. This is because the bulb is smaller, more compact, than the Sway and its long shaft.

On the other hand, the motor in the base is not at the same level. The vibrations are more surface and almost uninteresting. The Tilt being smaller than the Sway, it is also necessary to find space to insert the two motors. This one seems to be less powerful and it is.

Moreover, when Kitty tested it, it is true that the external motor (present on the base) hardly applies any pressure on her clitoris when she uses it as a vaginal plug. Again, if this part was flexible, this concern would not be present. If the Tilt will be used for anal, it will offer you very good vibrations, deep, there, on this point, it is very appreciable. For the vaginal part, you might as well go for the Lush 3 or, to a lesser extent, the Esca from OhmiBod.

The heating part

And this heating part, what does it give in the end? Well, it’s not bad at all! The materials used inside the Tilt retain the heat well, it is a mixture of silicone and nylon and it is true that the heating system works well. After 30 seconds, you start to feel the heating effect, reaching its peak after about a minute. It is the insertable part where the heat is felt and to be more precise, on the high part of the insertable part. It is therefore not the whole plug, nor even the whole bulb. Be careful with your battery level, the heating part consumes quite a lot!

Lora DiCarlo Tilt final thoughts

Lora DiCarlo Tilt - 8
Lora DiCarlo Tilt - 19

It’s time to wrap it up! Honestly, the Tilt is not a bad product, because it all depends on what you are going to do with it! But it is true that for what it offers, I would have liked to have a little more. If I had to recommend it, it would be more for its use as a vibrating plug! Because for the time being, at this level, it is doing the job! It is powerful, for my part, it adapts well to my morphology and it is neither too small, nor too big.

Some will prefer the Nuo from Je Joue, a little smaller in diameter, others the Vector from We-Vibe, for the adaptation to the morphology. It’s just a pity not to be able to adjust it in any circumstance and for any type of use, because that’s what makes the difference between a good product and a very good product! I recommend it as a high vibration butt plug, but not more.
