We start as in every review, with the box of this sextoy! It is a typical Lovehoney box, here in white and orange, to indicate that it is a unisex product, like the Double Booty butt plug we reviewed. This box is small, rather square and made with rigid cardboard.

On the front we have the picture of the butt plug, with the Lovehoney logo at the top, then on the side, the name of the product and at the bottom, a funny little message that says “Steel the Show”.

On the back, you can see a presentation of the product and Lovehoney, while on one of the edges, some details about its use. The box was slightly damaged on arrival, which is very rare. However, the product was not damaged in any way upon arrival.

Once we open this box, we have inside, a small user manual, then a black storage pouch with pink cords. This is the same type of pouch as for the Lovehoney curved glass dildo and the realistic glass dildo from Lovehoney.

As you can see on the pictures, it is a small stainless steel butt plug, quite classic, but with a curved shape to stimulate the P-spot, but also a head thought for that. Indeed, we can see that it has a recess and a flat part which will be perfect to massage the prostate. We’ll see if this is the case during my tests. Apart from that, we have a fairly present base, with the bottom oval, while the top is flat. It is a “T” base with a longer part at the front and a little less at the back. I didn’t pay attention to whether the Lovehoney logo was present, I feel like we or it is really very subdued.

Insertion and handling

To begin with, we have to introduce this butt plug! And I’m not talking about introducing it here, but in its literal sense. Yes, first of all, you have to insert it into your anus. Personally, I don’t use any lubricant with a stainless steel butt plug, just a little saliva to make it go in and that’s all. Admittedly, I’m used to it, but in reality, the steel slides pretty well. We have little friction when inserting it, unlike silicone.

For my part, the insertion is very simple, the head goes in and finds its place without worry. I can’t say that the insertion is complicated. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Then, with its long base, it is easy to reposition it if it moves a little or press on it to put pressure on the prostate, for example. The only small defect, which is not really a defect, is when sitting, I find that depending on the angle, the head of the butt plug can be slightly uncomfortable, but pleasant at the same time. I was able to sit with it for several tens of minutes, it is not a concern. From the tip, no problem to note. In short, in terms of its insertion and handling, it is a good model.

The sensations

As far as sensations are concerned, it’s not bad. Indeed, its shape adapts well to the prostate stimulation, even if in length, it is a little less good. Let’s say that depending on your position and the one of the butt plug, you may want a stronger and more direct stimulation, here, it’s softer, more subtle, even if you feel the head sliding on the prostate. It is clearly a butt plug for those who want to start. I find it more suitable for people who have a prostate to enjoy it fully, even if it remains unisex. I find that it lacks filling effect, because in width, it remains rather thin. But on its stimulation of the prostate, it is rather good, for a small butt plug like this.

To conclude, this stainless steel butt plug is not bad at all. Of course, it’s a bit small in width and lacks a bit of length to be at its best. But it’s also a plug for beginners, that’s understandable. Good quality, solid steel and rather affordable, it’s a good model, with a certain weight, a good secure base and a rather pleasant curvature.
