Fun with Flags Dildo Review

Here’s the Fun with Flags dildo! If you’re a fan of the Big Bang Theory series, you must surely be referring to the Fun with Flags series, created by Sheldon Cooper and later animated by Amy Farrah Fowler. However, this Fun With Flags dildo is not directly related to the series, even if a wink seems to be present in the idea. Indeed, it is a range of dildos using colors that represent different sexual orientations or identities of the LGBT community. There are several models that I will tell you a little bit about, but this one I chose is probably the most famous, the rainbow of gay culture.

So we will see together and with my dear and tender Kitty if this dildo is a good model to use. We had already had the opportunity to review two other SelfDelve creations, the cucumber dildo and the cactus dildo, two very nice models and even more. So this is the third product we are reviewing for SelfDelve! Here is our review of the Fun with Flags dildo Gay edition!

Fun with Flags dildo packaging

Like the cucumber dildo, the Fun with Flags dildo comes in a silver metal box. A box that can be opened from the top by removing the lid. When this box is opened, the dildo is surrounded by black tissue paper and a sample of Pjur lubricant. Frankly, I have absolutely nothing to say about the packaging!

In fact, it looks just like the shop! Green products, with eco-friendly packaging, we feel that this is important for the creator of SelfDelve. And I must say that this metal box is really beautiful and practical to store the dildo when not in use. In addition, I have received several SelfDelve postcards with a note from the designer, which is always a pleasure!

Fun with Flags dildo physical details

As you can see on the pictures, it’s a long coloured dildo! It has a rod or tube shape with horizontal stripes along the entire length of the dildo. At the level of the head, this one is rounded, a little flat, to begin gently, before arriving on this succession of striations which leaves dreaming. Then, at the other end, one discovers a kind of base, which is not a windy base, but which makes it possible to stabilize the dildo, to facilitate its catch in hand or to use it with a harness. By the way, it looks like this base was made by hand by pressing on it with a thumb of the hand to give it its so particular shape. It feels like a “homemade” product.

I must confess that the colors of the dildo make me think of some models already reviewed, like the Unicorn Horn dildo, but also the Thick Rick and Long Dong dildo from Pride Dildo! So it’s not the first time you see a dildo of this color on the site. We find the well-known sequence of colours of the gay culture, with red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I personally like these colours. It’s always better than a dildo in just one colour, even if some of them are very good at being all blue, pink or black. But it’s true that this Fun with Flags dildo is colorful, shimmering and makes you want to try it.

Dimensions of the dildo

It’s a medium size dildo, pretty high. Indeed, the Fun with Flags dildo measures about 23 cm (9.05″) in total length in its variant with a base. But without the base, this one measures about 21 cm (8.26″). Yes, I have to explain! As you can see on the pictures, I asked for the version with a base. But you should know that this dildo exists in a version without a base. On the SelfDelve website, this corresponds to the “pedestrial” or “pole” version.

Concerning the diameter of the dildo, it is announced at about 3.7 cm (1.45″). As for the base, this one measures approximately 2 cm (0.78″) in height for a diameter of 6,5 cm (2.55″)! It is thus a dildo with a modest size on the diameter level but a little less on the length. In any case, this dildo is rather well dimensioned!

The other details of the dildo

I’ve already gone over it, but I forgot to tell you one thing! This Fun with Flags dildo is the gay version. But there are other versions on the SelfDelve website. You have the “Transgender” version with the pattern “light blue, pink, white, pink then light blue”. There is also the “Pansexual” version using the pattern “blue, yellow then pink”. Then there is the “Genderqueer” version which is green, white then lilac. And finally, there is the “non-binary genderqueer” version in “purple, blue, yellow, pink then orange”. It’s up to you to choose your favorite version.

Fun with Flags dildo materials

For once, we have a dildo with a silicone texture, medium hard type! Indeed, the density of the dildo is quite high, but not too much either. Indeed, the dildo is quite firm, but this one remains quite flexible as shown in some pictures of the review. This is a very good choice, because if this dildo had a lower density, the striations of the shaft would be less interesting in my opinion.

Silicone is quite soft, with a glossy surface, it is a quality material that is used here and it shows! The only small flat, at the base, underneath, there is a small part that protrudes from the base, which is not very nice and makes the dildo lose a little bit of stability. For my part, I didn’t mind, but I prefer to tell you. Anyway, on the texture part, it’s very good, as always with SelfDelve.

Fun with Flags dildo use

As I often say, to use a dildo, there’s nothing complicated! It’s basic, but I’m still going to inform you on several points in order to use it in the best possible way and maybe give you some ideas.

What can we do with it?

With a dildo, you can do a lot of things! You can admire it, because it has to be said, it’s a nice dildo! You can also insert it in your vagina or anus, it’s known to be really nice! It is also possible to suck it, but with its many horizontal streaks, there is better as a possibility. In short, as you have understood, it is basically an object that fits into an orifice that may or may not belong to you, depending on the case.

Harness compatibility

With its 3.7 cm (1.45″) diameter, this dildo is compatible with a large number of harnesses! You can place it on the Magic Strap harness, but also on the Doc Johnson pantyhose harness. If you have a little more budget, it is compatible with the Tomboi, the Tomboi 2, the Sasha, the Bella or the Deuce from SpareParts. You can also place it on the Strap & Bound harness from Fun Factory and many others available.

Which lubricant to use with?

With a silicone sextoy, if you want to avoid any problems, you will have to use a water-based lubricant. This is not a requirement of course. But if you must use one, do not use a silicone-based lubricant. I therefore advise you to choose the water-based lubricant you prefer and according to the use of the dildo you are going to make at that moment. You have Motsutoys’ Tyo lubricant, which is quite thick and lasts over time. There is the very versatile Sliquid H2O or the very soft Sliquid Satin. You can choose Pjur Aqua lubricant or the sample offered. Or Sliquid Organics Sensation or Sliquid Sassy depending on the case.

How do you clean your dildo?

The easiest way to clean your dildo is to rinse it with warm water and a little soap or use a toy cleaner such as Sliquid Shine. Be careful, as you have seen, this dildo has many horizontal grooves, you will have to take care to remove any residue that will be found between each groove.

Fun with Flags dildo efficiency

Now, let’s talk about this flag dildo in a little more detail when we’ve used it with Kitty on several occasions! I also tested this one in anal. Lately, we’ve been reviewing a lot of dildos, like the Silexpan Dildo, the Taintacle Dildo and the Dragon Dildo from Mr Hankey’s Toys, but this Fun with Flags dildo is quite different! Here’s our feedback on this dildo!

Hand grip and suction cup

For the grip of this dildo, it’s good. We have length, a well distributed weight, you can easily take it by its base or by the shaft if you have a “pole” version. It’s quite simple to use it, to make the movements you want with it, in short, it’s very good on this point. For the base, as I said, it’s not a suction cup, which is a bit of a pity, because I would have liked to fix it to a wall. And as I said, the base has a small bulge underneath, which makes it less stable. For my part, it didn’t bother me at all, it’s mostly aesthetically that I find it not very good. I had no problem handling it by hand. I can take it by its base or by the shaft, it’s as practical as the other.

Anal use with back-and-forth

Obviously, when I saw this dildo, it was primarily for anal use that I considered it! With so many horizontal striations on the shaft and a very interesting length, I thought the sensations must be really interesting. And I must say that I was not mistaken! This Fun with Flags dildo is a little marvel when it comes to going back and forth with it in your butt!

In fact, once the head of the dildo is inserted into the anus, with lubricant to make it easier, you can feel the grooves immediately. Knowing that they are numerous, as soon as we make a back and forth movement, on a small amplitude, we feel about ten streaks passed. And if you use a slightly larger range of motion, about twenty grooves will stimulate the walls of the anus. I can tell you that it’s really great! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a dildo so interesting for anal sex. In any case, bringing this kind of stimulation! Because yes, you really want to spend time stimulating the anus and the anal walls with it.

Its big texturization is really interesting to stimulate the anus properly. It’s a high frequency stimulation, as soon as you go back and forth more energetically with it or use it in a squatting position. That’s really its strong point for me, its ability to perfectly stimulate the anus and the anal walls.

Prostate stimulation

In addition to its very good general anal stimulation, the rather flat head of the dildo also stimulates the prostate. With its flexibility but also its firm side, one can quite easily put pressure on the prostate. In a squatting position, if you place the dildo in a certain way, you can bend the shaft of the dildo and apply pressure on the prostate with the head of the dildo. Again, this is a definite advantage and reinforces my idea that this is a dildo intended for anal use first and foremost.

Feedback on its vaginal use

So it was with my dear, sweet Kitty that I reviewed this dildo for vaginal use. I have to admit that at first, even before using it, I wasn’t sure if it was as effective for vaginal as for anal penetration. However, Kitty proved me wrong! Indeed, it is a very good dildo for vaginal stimulation. During a cunnilingus, I took the dildo out to use it. I started gently inserting it into Kitty’s pussy, and it didn’t take Kitty long to show me that she liked the stimulation. As I went back and forth, gently or more vigorously, it glided perfectly!

As soon as you start to go back and forth more energetically, Kitty would tell me that the stimulation felt like a vibration. Each passage of the striations applies a kind of continuous stimulation that creates this vibrating sensation. Since there is no change in level between each stripe, it really feels like it’s vibrating as it passes. It’s a bit the same sensation in anal use! I might as well say it, Kitty was soaking wet while I was using it! She was able to get several orgasms with it and quite easily! It’s a great success on that side as well! You understood it, it stimulates perfectly on the vaginal level in its entirety and even rather well at the G-spot!

Honestly, the first time I saw this dildo, I wasn’t sure I was into it. With all those streaks on the shaft and its rather rough design, I wasn’t sure how effective it would be. Then I used it and now it’s a real surprise! Clearly, this is a dildo for anal stimulation! I’m not saying that it can’t be used for something else, but it’s really in this area that I find it great! The high frequency multiple striations as soon as you start to slide it in is just great! If you’re looking for a quality dildo for anal use, this is a great choice! Plus, when used for pegging, I can tell you that it will stimulate perfectly and it’s just divine to feel the streaks coming and going at a surprisingly changing pace. In short, it’s a little killer in its field!

But as we have seen, it is also good for vaginal use! Kitty made it clear to me that she really likes this dildo! That she felt vibrations as it passed by and that it stimulated very well. It is in fact a dildo that can be used for anal as well as vaginal use! It doesn’t look like it and yet, this Fun with Flags dildo is simply excellent! It’s a favorite of ours!
