Well, let’s start with the part that’s a bit annoying, the box! This is the reproach we make to this brand since the beginning. First of all, the cardboard box is too thin in my opinion, but above all, we have a huge plastic mold inside. Of course, there is still the small storage pocket, handy and a small booklet, but it’s a bit disappointing all the same.

On the front, we have the dildo that takes up almost the entire length of the box, with a hand holding it on the side to show the effect of the “fake skin” silicone. On the edges, information, including the different sizes available.

Then, at the back, some more information about it. In short, a correct box, but which should be a little more worked, in any case, more solid and especially, to make disappear this plastic mould.

At first glance, the Strap-On-Me Sliding Skin dildo looks like a basic dildo, with a suction cup, testicles, a shaft and a penis head! In fact, it could be confused with the realistic dildo from Strap-On-Me that we reviewed a while ago! But as soon as you handle it, you’ll realize that it’s not the same model at all. Indeed, it still keeps its realistic aspect and with a heart-shaped suction cup. The testicles are also present, a shaft with veins and a well drawn glans.

But when you take it in hand, you will realize its double density, but especially its outer silicone layer which has become very malleable to the point of giving the impression of a real penis. The skin slides on the shaft, imitating the skin covering the glans, but also the complete shaft, which under the slightest torsion, moves in function! Well, you will see a little further down that all this has a limit.

Size of the dildo

As always at Strap-on-Me, the Sliding Skin dildo is offered in several sizes to suit every desire. You have a model S, which displays 12.8 cm (5.03″) of insertable length for a maximum diameter of 3.6 cm (1.41″). You also have the size M, which displays 13.4 cm (5.27″) of insertable length for a maximum diameter of 3.8 cm (1.49″). Then, we move to the largest sizes with the L size, which displays 14.2 cm (5.59″) of insertable length for a maximum diameter of 4.1 cm (1.61″).

Then to finish, the XL model, with 15 cm (5.90″) of insertable length for a maximum diameter of 4.3 cm (1.69″). And to conclude, the biggest model, which allows to have 15,8 cm (6.22″) of insertable length for a diameter of 4,6 cm (1.81″). It is the XL version that we have chosen for this review! And as we like to give you complete measurements, here is what I was able to calculate in terms of dimensions for this XL format. This XL version measures 19,8 cm (7.79″) of total length of which 15 cm (5.90″) can be inserted and with a maximum diameter of 4,3 cm (1.69″).

Other details

To tell you more about this dildo, you should know that you can also find it in three different colors! Indeed, you have a “vanilla” version, the one we chose for the occasion. But you also have a fuchsia version and a black version, according to your preferences. Be careful though, the fuchsia version is only available for sizes S, M and L. And finally, as far as its weight is concerned, it is quite light, but a little bit more than the realistic dildo of the same manufacturer.

It is here, all the interest of this dildo, its texture! So certainly, it is not a revolution in itself, because we still have the presence of silicone for the realization of this dildo. However, it is a double density dildo, with a hard core but above all, a soft external surface, very soft. You have to imagine that the external silicone of the dildo is soft, but really soft.

At the level of the density, we are on a “ultra soft” level, as much to say, a very weak density. This allows to have on the one hand, testicles and a soft glans, which we are already used to have. But at the level of the shaft, it is quite rare!

Is it compatible with a harness?

Yes, I just mentioned it. However, you’ll have to be careful about the size of the dildo you choose and your harness, especially on what is called, the O-Ring. This is the ring that you have on your harness, which keeps the dildo in place. Otherwise, I’ve already mentioned several types of harnesses above, just take a look at them to find a harness that will work for you, even though there are many others on the market. Which lubricant to choose with ?

Of course, with a silicone dildo, even this one and I’ll say even more so this one, because it’s unique, you shouldn’t use just any lube. Here, I recommend a water-based lubricant for compatibility issues. But by no means silicone based lube. With a dildo where the skin can slide, a bit like a real penis, you can imagine that Kitty and I were very curious to see how it works and especially what it feels like to insert it, whether it’s vaginal, anal or oral. It’s not every day that we have a dildo like this to review. So we played with it a few times to get a good idea about it! Here is our opinion on the Strap-On-Me Sliding Skin dildo!

Handling and insertion

To begin with, is this dildo easy to handle? Yes, on this point, no change! In fact, as I said, it still looks quite similar to the realistic dildo of the same brand, except for the glans which is not shiny. But for the rest, it is clearly very close. On the one hand, we have the suction cup, which again, works very well! The dildo holds in place, whether it’s on tile, glass or any adherent surface. Don’t try to use it on a carpet, don’t mess with it though.

Also, with the presence of testicles, you can easily grab it from there, keeping them in hand, to go back and forth. In fact, that’s what I did with Kitty, who was sucking me while I had the dildo in hand, moving it in and out of her pussy. It’s not heavy either, which is nice, so you don’t end up with a tired arm. And as it is relatively flexible, there is no need to twist the wrist in all directions. It adapts rather well to the morphology.

The sliding skin effect of the dildo

This is the big news so we’re going to talk about it. Even before we tried this dildo in a sexual context, we already played with it to see what the dildo skin effect was like. Well, first of all, it’s not like a real penis. Certainly, we can make move the skin of the dildo, in particular by maintaining the shaft at the bottom, then by going up, as for the masturbation. However, the skin does not move like on a real penis. Here, you have to force it a lot more and you reach a certain limit at some point. Secondly, the skin does not move on the whole shaft, but on a part of it. And lastly, if we do not maintain strongly enough the dildo during a back and forth, the skin does not really move. It is therefore a skin effect that is not identical to reality, far from it.

In vaginal penetration

During penetration, I tested this one with Kitty. I was anxious to see if the skin effect of the dildo would change anything during penetration. In the end, that’s what we thought about our first tests outside a sexual context. So, yes, it is soft, relatively flexible, but we do not feel the skin effect of the dildo during the back and forth. This is logical, because in your hand, you really have to hold it tightly to make it move up and down. Unless you have a vagina made of concrete, capable of exerting strong pressure, I doubt you will be able to feel that skin sliding. Perhaps an even larger model would have allowed the skin to move, but I highly doubt it.

In anal penetration

But that’s another matter. But actually, no. I thought that with the anus, which has more strength than a vagina usually, the skin effect would be different. But unfortunately, you don’t feel this skin movement when you go back and forth. On the other hand, we feel a softer side, since the hard core of the dildo is not all the way wide, we still have a more malleable silicone part where the anal walls can put pressure. The insertion in anal is relatively simple, the back and forth is pleasant, the filling effect is not too bad, let’s say correct for the size of the dildo, in short, it’s not bad at all for this use.

Anything else ?

Yes, because in the end, what difference does it make to have this skin effect on this dildo? Well, not much in reality. Let’s say that on vaginal or anal stimulation, the dildo is quite soft, but you don’t feel this skin moving. The only interesting side is on the one hand, to jerk the dildo by sucking it for example, which brings an interesting realistic aspect. Then of course, its double density is also nice, but it’s a pity not to have a dildo with a skin that slides perfectly. In fact, it’s more visual than physical, which has some advantages, but not really any disadvantages.

To conclude, we are a little disappointed with the skin effect! I think we expected a little too much! Hence the disappointment! It is true that if the silicone skin effect could move much more easily especially during the back and forth or even by sucking it, this dildo would have been just perfect! Here, it is especially with the help of his hand that we can make the skin move. It’s fun, it reinforces a certain realism, but not more. On the other hand, if we remove this disappointing point, it is a very good dildo, soft, easy to use, with a suction cup that works very well. Finally, the skin effect is a small bonus, but not a revelation!
