Recently, We-Vibe has released several sex toys, including the Moxie and Vector, two products that are really nice to use and this time, it is the Melt that arrives on the clitoral suction stimulators market! I already hear you saying that it’s a copy of a Womanizer or Satisfyer! Well, not really. Indeed, for a while now, especially after the Womanizer Duo release if I’m not mistaken, Womanizer and We-Vibe are one. This is the reason why we start seeing packs with a Womanizer Starlet and a We-Vibe Sync for example.
Obviously, a technology such as the one proposed by Womanizer should not fall into oblivion and it was necessary that We-Vibe proposes its model! This is how the We-Vibe Melt was born! So yes, it looks like other clitoral stimulators that we have already had the opportunity to discover on the market! In fact, it looks like a Lelo Sona 2, a Satisfyer Pro 2 Vibration, a Womanizer Classic and others! But is it different from others? How is it positioned in this already busy market for a few years? At We-Vibe, things do not change much since their new packaging is available! Indeed, since a long time already, We-Vibe proposes their sex toys in rectangular boxes in hard cardboard with always the same accompaniment. Here again, we have the right to the regular one. Once the stickers are removed, you can lift the lid.
Inside this box, we find the We-Vibe Melt, lying in its foam mold, protected by a dispensable plastic part. There is also a user manual, a magnetic USB charging cable, but also a sample of 2ml We-Vibe lubricant by Pjur. That’s not all, since we also have the usual storage pouch. Last but not least, the We-Vibe Melt as the other products of the brand is guaranteed 2 years.

What a surprise, it looks like a Womanizer, a Satisfyer or this old Fountain of Youth. Well, certainly, it does not really have the same shape, but we find the essential. A sleek design, with a curved shape to easily hold in hand and place it properly. Its shape is also intended to facilitate use in couple and in several positions. We’ll see it in action. Otherwise, we see that the stimulating head is like the one on Lelo Sona 2 Cruise. It can’t be removed, unlike a Satisfyer Pro 2 vibration. We also have two buttons to manipulate it and two magnetic points for the magnetic charging part.
We-Vibe Melt size
We-Vibe Melt is a small clitoral stimulator. With 12.6 cm of total length (5″), 1 cm of width (0.39″) which is getting bigger a little at the handle and a stimulating head of 2.4 cm (0.94″) for diameter, it is clearly not a big sex toy. Its total width (handle + head) is 4.5 cm (1.77″). It is in the range of transportable contactless clitoral stimulators, such as the Womanizer Liberty, the Satisfyer Pro Traveler or the recently released Womanizer Starlet 2. It is a bit longer, but as a whole, it is a stimulator of the same size.

How to charge the We-Vibe Melt?
To charge your We-Vibe Melt, you have to go through the magnetic USB cord. It’s the same as on Moxie and Vector. If you already have one or the other, you can use the same cable. It takes 90 minutes of charging time for about 2 hours usage time, depending on the power used. When Melt is charging, an LED on the toy will blink. When charging is complete, the LED remains fixed. It’s classic and the charge time / usage time ratio is pretty good!
How to use the We-Vibe Melt in manual mode?
The manual mode is the mode without using a smartphone or in any case, the We-Connect application. To do this, you must press the “+” button once to start the Melt. To increase the stimulation intensity, simply press the “+” button again. If you want to lower the intensity, just press the “-” button. And finally, to turn it off, press the “-” button for 2 seconds. We can’t say that it is complicated, it is as easy as using the Womanizer Starlet 2 for example.
How to use the connected mode of We-Vibe Melt?
Just like the Moxie and the Vector, we will have to go through the We-Connect application. But first of all, make sure you have a compatible device. Indeed, your smartphone must be iOS 10 or above and Android 5 or higher. Nowadays, the majority of us are largely on these versions. In any case for Android, I am not an Apple fanboy. The smartphone should also use the Bluetooth 4.0 protocol.
Then, just be guided in the We-Connect application to pair the Melt to your smartphone. Then you can use the app, either for local use, or send an invitation to be controlled by another person. If you ever have a problem with the pairing, know that you can do a coupling “reset”, by pressing on the “+” button for 10 seconds to flash the Melt and be able to redo the pairing process.
Two cool features on the We-Connect app
On the Melt, two functions are also present, which did not seem to be there on the Moxie and the Vector, but it is to check, because I think it is a We-Connect app update. Which means that these two functions must be present also on the two models mentioned. The first function is “Extend Sleep Mode”, which allows the We-Vibe Melt to stay in “Standby” mode for up to 4 hours before switching to “Sleep Mode”. All in all, your Melt will remain ready for use for 4 hours before actually stopping.
The second function is a security function, especially to prevent “Bluetooth Bonding”. This prevents other Bluetooth signals from disrupting the connection between the sex toy and the smartphone. Maybe the end of regular disconnections without the Bluetooth scan mode activated?
What are the stimulation modes and intensity level of Melt?
With 12 intensity levels, the We-Vibe Melt is strong! It is at the same level as a Womanizer Premium! Both have 12 levels! Knowing that the technology present in the We-Vibe Melt is that the one uwed by Womanizer, the 12 levels must correspond to the Womanizer Premium 12 levels for example. We will see later if there is a difference between a real Womanizer and this We-Vibe Melt.
Which lube to use with the Melt?
To use a contactless clitoral stimulator, whether with Air Pleasure technology or pressure waves, there is no real need to use lubricant. This is only for comfort, especially if you want to add a little lube on your clitoris. If you want some references, know that I like the Sliquid H2O, the water-based Yes bio, the Pjur Aqua or the water-based Sliquid Satin.
How to clean the We-Vibe Melt?
The fact that the We-Vibe Melt is waterproof informs us of two things! The first is that we can use it under water. A well-controlled ergonomic stimulator
The first thing we could notice is its ergonomics. Clearly, it is a faultless on this point. The handling is easy, the buttons are easily found by the fact that they are curved, which makes things easier. The part with the stimulating head is soft and pleasant, it’s perfect. The only thing that can be blamed is the fact that there is only one tip size.
Knowing that you can’t change the head, a larger clitoris may have problems. There is space and the smaller clitoris can also use it, the head shape can be pressed against it. The ergonomic and curved shape of the Melt also makes it easy to put it in place, no matter the position. Moreover, the tip is flexible, which is nice, more than other stimulators of its kind. In addition, you can keep the “+” or “-” buttons pressed to lower the intensity without a staircase effect.
No modes on this Melt
Another point, despite the 12 intensity levels that can be discovered using the application, there is no alternative mode. Indeed, the stimulation will be constant, as on the vast majority of contactless clitoral stimulators. It’s a shame, because with the new connected part, I hoped to find different modes. That’s true that constant modes are often the most popular, but why not add alternative modes?
Indeed, in the application, we can create a vibration pattern, but we can not use it. Why? Because the Melt does not vibrate. Frankly, it’s a shame. Is it a technical problem or an obvious lack?
Use in manual mode in light version?
Not at all. If we use the We-Vibe Melt without the connected part, there is as much power and as many intensity levels. I admit that I have seen several information contradicting each other on this subject. Some announce 12 levels, others 10, others 6, in short, there is only one real answer to all this! There are 12 intensity levels whether in online mode or in manual mode. It is enough to note it by pressing the intensity button from the highest level to the lowest, to see that there are 12 levels. It is not complicated yet. And so here, with or without the application, you will have exactly the same thing.
What about its power?
Melt seems weak at first. Indeed, the first levels seem to be the same. The power does not vary much. It can satisfy a number of women who are not used to using this type of sex toy or those with a more sensitive clitoris.
For the most used, it will directly go to level 6 to start having fun with. But to enjoy its full power and get an orgasm easily or even multiple orgasms, do not hesitate to make you shudder of pleasure on the levels from 10 to 12! I can not say if this Melt is at the same level as a Womanizer Premium in terms of power, but it’s really very similar according to our feedback.
Use in connected mode
The benefit of going through the app, in addition to getting more power, is its remote use. But not only ! Indeed, with the application, we can also change the intensity more fluidly using your finger. Even if the “+” button can be held to smoothly increase in manual mode, the application remains more efficient for performing these smoothly intensity changes. On the other hand, the We-Connect application is not completely usable with Melt. We can’t create stimulation modes and it’s a pity. Why can we do it with other sex toys in the range but not this one? I do not really understand the concept.
Our use at two
To go further, in connected mode, the Melt seems to be ok. As the disconnections, no problem staying close to the person who uses the Melt. Remember the Bluetooth scan option in the app settings. What I like is to control the Melt intensity without holding it. With a Womanizer Duo, a Starlet 2 or a Satisfyer Pro Traveler, if I use it on Kitty, I have to hold the sex toy. Here, I can make Kitty hold the Melt in place, while I focus on the intensity variations.
Plus, I do not have to keep an eye on the Melt when it’s in place to make sure it stays in place, which makes it easy for me again, to focus on intensity variations as I please. And I have more time to watch Kitty get an orgasm. Finally, the noise is correct, less strong than the first contactless clitoral stimulators like the Womanizer W100. This is frankly acceptable.
We-Vibe Melt final thoughts
I must say that I am disappointed on one point. We-Vibe is in a good period now. The Moxie is really good, the Vector is good, but there, this Melt is half-hearted, although I find it good. We feel that it came out a little fast, probably under the influence of the collaboration between We-Vibe and Womanizer or vice versa.
The connected part is not finished for me. This possibility of creating stimulation models is clearly lacking as for the other models in the range. On the other hand, fortunately We-Vibe did not realize a flanged version in manual mode as can be seen on other toys.
Otherwise, it’s still a good sex toy, but in view of the competition, the connected part is really dispensable, unless it is a priority for you, especially to use it from a short or long distance. But also for the reasons that I mentioned previously, concerning our use with two.
