Some time ago, the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 was released! It is a model that seals a partnership between Lovehoney and Womanizer. But why was this model released? Quite simply because the company had stopped production of the Womanizer Pro40, at first, temporarily, then definitively. Many people were disappointed by the discontinuation of this model, which was simply excellent, for several reasons, such as its price, its waterproof side and its power. It was very difficult to find a Pro40, it was really necessary to search the websites that still had some, until it became really hard to find.

The Original model is now a souvenir and a collector’s item and that’s how the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 appeared, in order to satisfy the fans of this model. Of course, in the meantime, Womanizer has taken several models out of their contactless stimulator. There was the Womanizer Starlet and Starlet 2, the Womanizer Premium and Classic, but also the Womanizer I&O and the Womanizer Duo. But also the Womanizer Liberty. And I’m not even talking about the Womanizer 2GO and the Womanizer +Size. So today, I’m going to test the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 with my dear and sweet Kitty to tell you if this version is still interesting and how it fits in the saturated market of contactless stimulators nowadays.

To begin with, let’s talk about the box and its contents! It is a standard, rectangular, cardboard box, but it is not very solid. It is lilac with black and the product is pictured on the front. Once we open the box, we discover of course the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 but also a small user manual and a Jack/USB charging cable and that’s it! On the other hand, we have a big plastic mold, which is a pity for the ecology.

The AC adapter that was present in the original version is no longer available. There is no storage pouch and there is also no extra head in XL size. I think it’s a bit of a shame to have less content than the original version, but know that you can buy replacement heads on the side if you need them. The only one we have extra is a piece of cardboard with “#Im Masturbate” written on it.

I’m not going to lie to you, the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 looks just like the original Pro 40. At the same time, for a re-release, it’s completely normal. So we end up with a long, rather slender Womanizer, which is a mark of elegance and refinement.

At the time, the Pro 40 was available in silver and white or silver and pink, but here we switch to black and gold, and finally a golden pink, reminiscent of the Eroscillator 2 Deluxe or the Fleshlight Turbo Thrust Copper. For me, it’s the steampunk color. It’s more sober than a Womanizer W100 with its leopard side and its fake diamond that gave a bling-bling impression a bit ridiculous.

Otherwise, in terms of differences, the Womanizer logo has been rearranged, it is no longer above the buttons with the word “womanizer”, but below the buttons with only the “W” now found on today’s Womanizers.

Again, whether it’s the original or this Lovehoney version, the materials are the same. So we have an ABS plastic body and a soft silicone head. Either one or the other, they are both body-friendly materials, containing no phthalates or latex. I have nothing to complain about, it’s always quality.

How do I use the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40?

With three buttons at your disposal that are very easy to understand, you don’t even need a manual to understand how it works. Nevertheless, here is some information that you may find useful afterwards. The first button is the “Power” button. Just press it once and your Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 will start. It will use the first level of intensity to start. Then by pressing the “+” button you can increase the level by one step and if the “-” button is pressed, the intensity will decrease. If you press the “Power” button for two seconds, the stimulator will turn off.

However, there is a little subtlety to this model. Indeed, if you press the “Power” button once during use, the Womanizer will not shut down, but will return to the first level of intensity. This is quite handy if the stimulation becomes too intense and you want to calm down the game without cutting off the stimulation. Otherwise, for the base of the product, the principle is to position the stimulating head on your clitoris, cap up or not, and let yourself go. Well, I’ve been trying to find information somewhere that says there were 8 levels, but I can’t find anything about it. The Pro 40 manual or the box doesn’t say anything about it. Whereas on the Womanizer x Lovehoney Pro40 model, it is well indicated that there are 6 levels! So I guess it was a mistake on our review of the original model, but I’m not sure. On the other hand, I am sure that the new Pro40 has 6 levels of intensity. The first mode is weak, while the sixth is still quite strong (even though it is not as strong as the latest Womanizer models on the market). Nevertheless, you will see it lower down, with 6 levels, it’s enough to get orgasms.

Which lubricant to use with?

If you need a bit of lubricant to make the experience a little more comfortable, a water-based lubricant is a must. Since the stimulator head is made of silicone, if you use a silicone-based lubricant, there is a high risk of damaging it. You can therefore use your favourite water-based lubricant and if you are looking for one, I recommend the Sliquid or Pjur range. For example, Sliquid H20, Sliquid Satin or Sliquid Organics Sensation. And on the Pjur side, the Pjur Aqua is pretty good. There are many other lubricants on the market, so use the one you loved.

How do you clean your Womanizer?

The Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 is waterproof, which means that you can put it completely in water. But that’s not really necessary. What I advise you to do is to remove the stimulating head from the body, clean it with warm water and a little soap or use a toy cleaner like Sliquid Shine to clean it and then rinse it with water. Once the head is dry, simply put it back in place and use it again whenever you like.

Of course, there won’t really be any surprises, because it’s the same model as the Pro 40. However, it’s not so sure, because we’re in 2020 and not 2016, when this one was born. More than 3 years later, is this model still as interesting? In order to give you a report about it, it is of course my dear and tender Kitty who will be stimulated by this version of the Pro 40. The first point that doesn’t change is the handling of the product. With the buttons placed inside the stimulator, I find it easier to use it. In fact, you can see them directly at a glance and when I use it on Kitty, I can see them perfectly well while keeping an eye on the placement of the stimulator head. It is light, of good size so that it doesn’t slip out of my hands, but not too big so that it doesn’t twist my wrist. This model is still good in this respect.

You can’t expect a very quiet product, but it’s not as quiet as the lawnmowers we had on the w100 and even the w500. Of course, if there is no noise in the room, you will hear it, but in the heat of the moment, it is not disturbing.

Despite what you might think with these 6 levels of intensity, the Womanizer X Lovehoney Pro40 remains powerful. Of course, it is not as powerful as a We-Vibe Melt or a Satisfy Luxury High Fashion, but it still remains at a very good level. As I mentioned, Kitty has already tested several models like the Satisfyer Pro Traveler, the Womanizer Classic, the Premium, the Sona 2, the Sona 2 Cruise and the Starlet 2 (I certainly forget some) and this one still works very well on her.

In fact, when I used it on her several times between cunnilingus to rest my tongue, Kitty was getting orgasms with the third level. As soon as I moved up to the 4th level, the stimulation became almost too strong at times. With the 6 levels available, you might as well say that you have plenty to do! And what’s more, if you use it underwater, you increase its power tenfold!

Who is this model for?

Personally, I find that this model applies to all new users of a high-performance and long-lasting contactless clitoral stimulator. Indeed, with the echoes I sometimes get, Womanizer is more reliable than Satisfy. The price is usually a little higher, but it lasts much longer. I have the impression that Satisfyer uses less qualitative materials, in particular on their battery, whereas Womanizer never disappointed me on this point.

All in all, this Womanizer x Lovehoney Pro40 is still a good model to consider. As I said, it’s not the most powerful on the market, but it’s still a very good model, remaining effective for most users. Even Kitty who is getting used to it can’t resist its charm and power! Its price remains as advantageous and it is nevertheless a reissue of a model that has proved its worth and which was adulated in its time! It’s a pity that the stimulating second head is no longer present and that we lose a little bit at the changes in content. However, if you are looking for a Womanizer that does its job, this model is very good and this, even today!
